Madison Who’s Who Recognizes Dr. Robert Wickman

“Why is there a need for cures? Because, somewhere down the line, a law of nature was broken and there is a penalty involved. If you choose to disgrace Mother Nature and break her rules, you will pay in the form of a disease. Fortunately, she does provide a way for you to redeem yourself and return to optimal health.” These words belong to Dr. Robert Wickman, who is an expert guide for returning his ailing and sometimes terminal patients, back home, where they belong, to optimal health. Robert B. Wickman is an Osteopathic doctor, specializing in diseases of the nervous system and spinal column. He has been treating degenerative diseases such as Cancer, Diabetes, Lupus, MS, Muscular Dystrophy, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and AIDS to name a few, for over 30 years.

The desire to heal people has been in Dr. Wickman since high school. He did a Tour of Duty with the U.S. Army and on returning he enrolled in the Kansas City College of Osteopathy & Surgery, which is now known as University Health Sciences. After receiving his D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathy) he interned in Tucson, AZ and after completing my intern-ship moved to Scottsdale, AZ where I practiced for 20 years. Dr. Wickman’s first few years were spent as a traditional family practitioner. When he referred his cancer patients were to an oncologist it became evident, that these folks were dying from either radiation poisoning, or chemical poisoning from chemotherapy, in addition possibly having parts of their bodies surgically removed. The doctor knew there must be a better approach to healing. Thus began his inquisitive search for cures instead of covering up the symptoms. He has developed his own techniques over the years to help the body help itself. His approach involves the use of ozone, hydrogen peroxide, electrotherapy against parasites, colonic irrigations, various herbs beneficial to the body’s recovery system, IPT therapy, diet and supplements, and a coordinated system of immune builders capable of cell to cell metabolism. The doctor sees traditional medicine’s approach to a problem as chasing after the symptoms. A tumor is a symptom, and cutting it out doesn’t remove the cause. A pain here or there is a symptom and cutting it out doesn’t remove the cause.

Doctor Wickman’s common scenerio for a person/patient seeking optimal health is that he/she travels to his clinic in Ecuador and enjoys the process of  getting well again. In no time most all of his patients turn from being a patient into a tourist. They leave Ecuador with many trinkets and photos of their good time here. They go home to finish getting well. They are exiting their disease processes instead of getting more deeply involved with them. From Monday to Friday, intense treatments are given: nothing painful or anything to do with causing more stress. The day is passed in an enjoyable fashion. A complete vegetarian diet is prescribed. This lack of meat, chicken, fish, or pork aids the immune system to a much quicker recovery and helps eliminate the disease process much faster. Give the body a chance and you will be amazed at what it will do for you.

Doctor Wickman is affiliated with the College of Physicians and Surgeons, and the University of Guayaquil / Universidad de Guayaquil. In the doctor’s free time he enjoys bowling and deep sea fishing. Quito, Ecuador, the bustling capital of Ecuador is where the doctor lives and works, and was for many years just a stopover for tourists heading to the Galápagos. A stopover on the way to a place of discovery, the place of discovery that showed Darwin Nature’s way of altering and correcting itself. The naysayers didn’t stop Darwin’s mission of discovery. And Doctor Wickman continues his life mission of healing men, women and children through alternative procedures. So if it is health you wish to recover, not maintaining your illness, contact him and you’ll see what can be done to accomplish your desires.
